Terms of use

1. Purpose

These terms govern use of the Second Voice mobile app, published by J. Soligny (contact: jeremie@soligny.cloud).

Second Voice lets you have text read aloud and save quick phrases, optionally with your own voice.

2. Acceptance

By installing or using the app, you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, uninstall the app.

3. Licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Second Voice on your devices for private use or communication support. You acquire no ownership of the app, its trademarks or its code.

4. Account and age

No account is required. The app is intended for users who can understand these terms. It is not intended for children under 16.

5. Your content

The texts, tiles and recordings you create belong to you. You are responsible for their content. Do not record another person’s voice without their agreement.

This content stays on the device, in the app’s private storage, unless you take another action (sharing the phone, system backup, and so on).

6. Advertising

The app may show banner ads provided by Google AdMob. In the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent prompt may be required. See the GDPR page.

You must not deliberately and repeatedly click your own ads. That can lead to advertising account suspension and harm the service.

7. Availability

The app is provided “as is”. Speech synthesis depends on voices installed on the device. The publisher does not guarantee uninterrupted playback, absence of bugs, or a constant ad fill.

8. Prohibited use

You must not reverse-engineer the app for unlawful purposes, disrupt advertising services, use Second Voice to harass others, or bypass system security measures.

9. Liability

Second Voice is a communication aid, not a medical device and not an emergency alert system. In case of danger, contact the emergency services appropriate to your country.

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the app.

10. Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of the page is authoritative. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, the competent French courts shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
